This was really just a novella, a sort of long short story I wrote when I was in college. I always wanted to be a scifi/fantasy author, but in recent years I've been revisiting my older works and trying to appeal to a larger crowd. This one is a romantic drama, perhaps even young adult.
This is an old novella of mine I'm reworking, just like 'It Started with a Letter.' I'm trying to appeal to a wider fan base by offering a lot of work across many genres. In this case, it's dramatic fiction again, but unlike Letter, it's not a historical drama. It's modern day. Originally, this was named 'The Keys to Soul,' but I'm looking for a better name for it as I rework and edit it. The plot goes like this: a young girl happens across a jazz bar one night and starts fixating on the piano player. She wants to get to know him better, despite his attempts to persuade her otherwise...
